Barely Breathing.
The audition is in 6 days and I'm already more nervous than I've ever been. I'm flying out Saturday night and the audition is Sunday morning. I'm having some real trouble choosing a song I really think fits the play. "Hallelujah" is beautiful, but I'm not sure it really is the best for this particular play. I'm thinking of "Over My Head (Cable Car)" by the Fray, because it is higher and is more in the vocal range that the show is in, whereas "Hallelujah" constantly dips below that. I'll do some recordings and then choose from there.
Back to school is always fun. Actually, this time it was. It made me realize that I need to hang out with a wider variety of people. Not that I don't love Eryn and Peter and all the drama kids, but sometimes I need a little bit of a change.
Finally, the AP LANG essay is done, and it is out of my hair. Right now I'm finishing up my AP US project, and then I'll be done with all major projects for the year, I hope!
