New York, New York.
To keep everyone updated, there's a very good chance I'll be flying up to New York for the 13th to audition for "Spring Awakening". I'm not sure if I'm going up alone or if a parent is going with me yet. If I did go up alone I might stay with the lovely Alanna Chuyan.
I'm going to sing "Hallelujah" (the one from Shrek) but take it a little faster to give it more excitement, and I'm really going to put my own twists into the song that I think will impress the casting directors. Luckily my sister already had the sheet music to it so I'm all set!
I would like to thank Julia Gallagher and Sean Flynn for their supportive words that gave me the courage to really give it my all. Everyone else is supportive too, but the things they have said have made it me so much more confident. Oh and Mrs. Haines. And Sandia Ahlers.
IF (yes, just IF) I get a callback, I would probably end up staying in NYC.
Here's the problemo: Our Town is two days after the audition. And the callback may very well be that day or the day after or the day before, etc. So I would have to miss Our Town. Not that I'm complaining, but I don't want my cast to be like fish out of water without me there.
Oh, p.s. I saw "Superhero Movie" and it was actually decent. Craycray?
