Back to School, back to school, to prove to dad that I'm not a fool....

Whooo!!! First week at Calhoun Community! Its been pretty cool, I've met some new people and they've looked at me like I'm crazy, hung out with gabe for a while, and generally got the feel of this college thing. My classes are as follows:

English 101: Had to write an essay on the first day, "why I chose to attend College". It was the biggest peice of bs I have ever written. Apparently the tree reasons I'm at college are truth justice and the american way....

Math 098: A math class online, so I only have to go to class on test days!! Whoo!!!

Computer Graphics: Get to learn how to do photoshop and flash animation!!! All that stuff I was going to learn in my free time, and I get school credit for it!

Intermediate web design: Meh... Could be better....But we have a teacher with a funny accent soo....could be worse too.

Chorale: Wow....what can I say.... Not anywhere in the same league as the decatur high chamber choir (represent!!). It makes it all the more evident by the fact that I'm the stongest tenor. whew... We got alot o' work ahead of us.

Also I got a scholarship for $250 a semester for being in choir!!! Frigging rocks!! And um...unlike marybeth..I have no new peircings to report....I got shivved once, does that count?

Useless Fact: Isaac Asimov is the only author to have a book in every Dewey-decimal category

Moment of Zen: If you want to be the most popular person in your class, whenever the professor pauses in his lecture, just let out a big snort and say "How do you figger that!" real loud. Then lean back and sort of smirk.
