Um....hey...this thing still working?....

Well....it sure has been a long time since I posted on this thing..... I think its because every time I start to write on this, I cant think of anything worth writing away. The summer is slipping away, and I've already signed up for classes a calhoun community college. I was supposed to try out for their choral program but when the director heard I had been in the Decatur High Chamber Chorus for four years she addmitted me directly and said she would try to hunt up some scholarship money. Score! Besides that, I've been feeling kinda lonely. Kera broke up with me at the beginning of the summer and I feel like all my freinds (cept maybe Osama and Gabe from time to time) have dissapeared. I feel like I do nothing but go to work, and have no life.. And my usually imperterbable sense of optimism is begining to flag.... But *sigh* I'm sure it will get better. Bound to be plenty of new people to meet at college.

Useless fact: Because radio waves travel at 186,000 miles (299,274 km) per second and sound waves saunter at 700 miles (1,126 km) per hour, a broadcast voice can be heard sooner 13,000 miles (20,917 km) away than it can be heard at the back of the room in which it originated.

Moment of Zen: One time I was talking to my grandmother "Gran...What is love to you?" and she said "I've always thought of it as something organic, something natural. On the outside, it might look rough, might look hard, might look ugly. But then you let it grow, and on the inside, its soft, beautiful, lovely." "Gran.." I said "Thats beautiful. Is that really what Love mean." "Love?" She replied, "I'm sorry, I thought you said a melon"
