In My Mind I'm Breeding Butterflies

I have just four more days of school. Five if you count the obligatory waste of a day that is Record Day.

I can smell summer. It smells like freedom. It smells like reading on my porch swing, freshly cut grass, new ink on crisp journal pages, and my dog's fur.

Summer goals:

1. Complete my third novel.
2. Potty train new puppy (which we're getting next Saturday!)
3. Spend lots of time hiking in the woods.
4. Let my mind wander back to religion again.
5. Get rid of junk in my house.
6. Make more jewelry, or other tasks that use my hands and my creativity.
7. Play piano daily.
8. Finish the "To Read" pile of books on my office floor.

There it is. This summer is going to be fierce.
