Writer's Block: Volunteering
The force that makes us donate money and volunteer time is pretty hard to modify. Sometimes, we don't know how or why, but our hearts tells us to do so. Maybe sometimes because pity takes over or just something pushes us to make the world a better place, especially to those who are less blessed (cheesy, I know).
Usually, when we are in some kind of charity programs, we unconsciously place ourselves in the victims shoes, and maybe think, "What if I'm in his place for good? What will I do? Who will help me?". Those kinds of stuff would touch our hearts and empower us to help and improve the lives of others. We're human, and so are they. They too, deserve to have what we have. They need to be loved and cared for, just like us.
God made them the way they are maybe to test of our hearts are of purity and ready to help.
