(no subject)
Ya see this sword? Yeah, that's Final Fantasy's way of saying "Hey Cosplayers? BRING IT."
Finished my first sewing project. It's awesome and I plan to do a cosplay photo showing it off properly soon. My keyboard's acting funkytastic, though, which is a pain in the ass. I'm starting on the next project next week, which will be a blue lolita skirt with white lace and black ribbon. It's hilarious because my friend Melody is in the Thursday class, where I'm in the Tuesday class, and we're both making Lolita skirts...so I think my teacher's going to find out exactly what Lolita is real quick.
My project after that will be Meowth's vest. I'm going to ask her if she thinks I'd have time to make slacks, as I've been having absolutely NO luck finding beige slacks that are even remotely comfortable. Also having trouble with Pikachu's pattern. It looks like I'll just have to give up and redesign her completely. I think I can keep the back stripes, but it looks like the choker's going to go...which is just a pile of suck, because that was in the design of the dress from the beginning. This fall I'm taking pattern-making so this never happens to me again. And textiles. I'm tired of looking at fabric and going "whut r u and how du u woooork??".

Still doing the Thursday updates on my DA, which is actually going quite well. I usually do comics, but sometimes put up other stuff...depends on what I have time for. Next week will be another Army-of-Darkness-Applied-To-Pokemon comic, only it'll be Good Ash vs Bad Ash. So far it's lookin' pretty epic. (I try to make the AoD comics as epic as I can seeing as the movie is the most awesome, manliest movie ever made.)
