Haven't updated here lately, so here's just a bunch of random stuff that's been happening for the past couple of months. Gosh, where to begin?

As of March 1, the BF and I finally rented an actual office/warehouse where we can run our business properly (www.pikcard.com). It's going OK so far, but I work for the BF. Not always an easy situation!

Also in March, I scored seats to a game in the first annual World Baseball Classic in Anaheim. Japan was playing in Round 2 but the team they were playing against was unknown at the time I purchased the tix. (I was really only interested in seeing Team Japan play...it didn't matter to me who they were playing against.) Turns out Team USA was their opponent! The tickets quickly sold out once that was announced, so we really lucked out! It was a cold, cloudy day, but I had a great time! Got to see some of the best ballplayers from Japan and the US. We sat amongst a lot of Japanese fans who were quite stunned that I was actually rooting for Japan to win. Too bad they lost that game, but Japan eventually won the tournament!

April has been a weird month. Just really up and down...good followed by bad. Registered for AnimeExpo2006 (badges to be sent in the mail this year...hooray!), but then I caught the flu right after that. See what I mean? We went for a nice long walk on Venice Beach on Sunday, but the driver's side door on the BF's car decided to break for no apparent reason (it won't close). For the past few days, he's had to drive around with the door held shut with a rope. We're taking it in to the dealership for repairs today, but still...it just seems like things keep going wrong! Yes, they are unrelated events, but it's damned annoying!

BTW, y!gallery sucks. I recently closed my account there because the dictators...er, moderators...run the site in a "shoot first, ask questions later" manner. Actually, they never ask questions. Your artwork is completely at their mercy. Totally uncool! I could understand their attitude if we had to pay in order to display our stuff there, but for a "free" site, they really have a lot of nerve. Anyway, just a heads-up to any artists who were thinking about joining that site. Watch your back!

I can't think of anything else to rant about right now. Maybe something will come to me later!
