The reason my goddaughter can't be in my wedding? "oh, well, I wouldn't let them fly home alone at all for any reason". Um, ok, fine, t hanks for telling me a couple months before my wedding. But hey, you paid for the dress already (hand made by a kickass seamstress) and I'll mail that to you, as well as the handmade jewelry I had arranged for everyone in the wedding party. Sure, no problem.
Oh, and the reason we can't stay the extra 2 weeks for the wedding, or fly her back, is because we just don't have the money.
