(no subject)
Okay, so there's been a serious lack of "life in general" updates recently, and emayo has been complaining (well, not really). So, here's what's going on:
1. Am now on study leave. I had my first exam last monday - Classical Art & Architecture. It was okay, and I especially liked the essay question, though the gobbet question wasn't so great, because I couldn't remember which pot it was asking me about. I also had my Physics practical on wednesday, and that was also quite okay. My next exam is tomorrow: Core Maths units 1 & 2.
2. I am, apparently, failing my Electricity & Thermal Physics module. It would've been nice if I had been told this sometime earlier than the day before my practical (tuesday, that is), but it can't be helped, I suppose. This may, however, mean that I'll be carrying on with Maths next year, instead of Physics.
3. I got an A- on my last History essay!!!
4. Have recently become obsessed with Prince of Tennis. I've watched the whole anime by now, but I can't find anywhere to download the manga for free (that was a hint, btw) except NarutoFan Manga PLUS, but I'd need a paid account to go there. *Sighs* Favourite characters: Fuji Syuusuke, Fuji Yuuta, Kirihara Akaya, Marui Bunta & Akutagawa Jirou. Favourite pairings: FujiRyo, KiriRyo, ShinRyo, MaruJi. Mizuki is also quite amusing (in his evil-and-blatantly-gay way), and I have a strange fondness for Akutsu and Inui. Um...
5. Having a proper sunday lunch today. Heli made a salad, and roast potatoes, and roast duck. Of course, the only part I could eat was the salad, because I'm vegetarian and the potatoes were cooked in duck fat. It was disgusting, and my throat is still burning from the smell of the duck (which was actually relatively normal - I just don't like the smell of cooking meat).
6. I am actually getting somewhere with fanfic100 at the moment! I just finished writing Left Behind, and I plan to get on with my non-Hush AU soon.
