No Oscars, Drat
No, I'm not lamenting someone/somemovie not getting Oscars, 'cause they haven't happened yet. I'm just grousing a bit about not getting to see them 'cause I woke up with a hot back of the head after yesterday. Also, a ridiculous amount of problem with using Audible offline, after downloading 4 new titles.
Yesterday was a good day, tho I did a little too much. Breakfast with the parents at their favorite breakfast eatery, a movie (got my parents to watch the monthly bad sci-fi flick at the local indie theater, and even my dad enjoyed himself. And I won Mom a baseball hat with Gort on it during the trivia beforehand.), then the farmers market and shopping for sorrel seeds and checking out the new chicks, all within walking distance so I did at least a mile of walking. I enjoyed it, even knowing that it might result in today. Which really isn't that awfully bad as things go, outside of the need to be near a toilet and copious supplies of toilet paper at all times, and upping the inflammatory herbs and drugs. This and the Triple Crown and Breeders Cup days are the few times I actually miss not having broadcast TV.
GARDEN NEWS: If I don't find a local supplier that has sorrel seeds I'll have to mailorder them, and the hunt yesterday seemed to indicate I'll have to do that.
