whoa. got As in all 3 of the graduate seminars that I sat in on this semester- that makes it 5 for 5 as far as 5000-6000 level classes go. With any luck this will help convince admissions committees to forgive my numerous, numerous past indiscretions.
I hope so, at least. God knows what I'll do with myself if actually forced out into the real world and confronted with the possibility of having to find work for myself as a man with a mostly inapplicable philosophy degree in this fan-fucking-tastic economic climate. If only I were lucky enough to have known where my true academic passions resided when I was a freshman rather than half-way through my junior year. Oh well, it's because of folks such as I who have semi-convincing sad stories to tell
that terminal M.A. programs exist.
does anyone still read this thing, by the way? I feel as though it's becoming an actual journal rather than a livejournal. Perhaps I should move onto twitter or facebook or google news or gameboy color or whatever it is you damned kids are using these days.
