all the colors of the wind
i shall be pressed to cover yesterday *and* today in this one entry.
yesterday... tuesday... i had my last exam, pre-cal. me being the idiot i am in math, it was difficult. i think i just put 'b' for like 15 of the problems. :-(
then for the next exam (i didn't really have one), i met mrs. fortner in the library and we did a loooot of boring nhs junk (i'm the secretary) and counted countless hours... etc. not fun.
then after school (1:00) my mom and i ate at arby's (mmm arby's sauce...) and then WITH MY GLASSES went and got my permit renewed. yay permits! but i had to wear my glasses in the frickin picture, so it will look like crap. I HATE MY GLASSES! but i have to wear them whenever i drive, so...
then came home... had to call 37 nhs members about their missing hours (NOT FUN!) and marchele came over and helped me for like an hour... then we went up to wal-mart, only the hottest high school hangout, and got snickerdoodles with her gift card. they were delicious! then we came home and pigged out, then remembered that THE RETURN OF THE KING came out that day, so we rushed up to blockbuster and got it with my gift card, then went to her house and watched it with jarod, then i spent the night!
then this morning we dragged ourselves out of bed at 9:45 and ate tuna and watched "the price is right" and came to school at 11... i went to fortner and she went to yearbook... had to look up a bernsch of people's schedules and go hassle them about hours... jason helped me cuz he needed another club hour... stopped by latin and realized HOW MUCH i will miss mrs. hervey... looked through some old latin scrapbooks from the sixties and was elected historian for next year to make another one.
then after school was the parking lot auction (i got space #40, next to the one carolyn passed down to me... for fifteen bucks! a lot of people were paying like 50-75 bucks! whoooooa! i've decided i will paint mary poppins on it (big surprise, huh?) and be the coolest kid ever.)
then the new assistants ate at CiCi's and played crane machine and arcade games... john is a whiz at crane machine. jonathan brought me home, and here i am! what an eventful 2 days it has been!
so SUMMER HAS BEGUN! i shall be working in parent's day out every tuesday and friday starting... tuesday... through the end of july. fun! MOOOONEY!! i really need money... very badly. the parents are always after me about getting a job... so maybe this will help. it's not really a *job* but closer than what i'm doing now.
how does it feel, being a senior? it feels... like being a junior! perhaps it will sink in over the summer. i am so worried about the future... i'll probably get an ulcer in my tummy!
monday is our family's memorial day get-together at bev's house! yay swimming! yay tatum! yay marcy for coming home SUNDAY!!! me cannot wait!
