and it hit me that day!
It's an end to the 1.5-year relationship
but not the end of a brand new one we are about to embark on.
Nothing romantic, yet nothing short of special.
After all, we have known each other for that long,
so it doesn't just end. It doesn't have a full stop.
I remember that night, I played the memories over and over again
like a winding musical box left to play till it breaks.
I tried to cry, but only to shed tears
one after another
as every drop crept into my follicle
sucked into every awakening pore
leaving only moisture on my face.
On the night of our closure
after the plesio-never-ending talk
I cried really hard.
It finally came.
