The Agonising Fears

Winter rain
shed its cold, temporal pain;
nature does its wonders all over again.
The sun,
its brief, monogamous warmth;
we crave daylight like it's never here.
At a time,
unabated by the passing phase;
I stand through a rush of hopes.
Spring
of hopes and fears,
I'm undecided and scared!
