PJ Half Marathon 2004
It's the last day for entry submission of the forthcoming Petaling Jaya (PJ) Half Marathon taking off at the local stadium in Kelana Jaya neighbourhood in Petaling Jaya on Sunday, 19 August 2004. A suburb I'm so accustomed to, PJ is more than home though I've moved places a couple of times. Nevertheless, I've spent more than a decade in different neighbourhoods in PJ, another 5 years in KL. Anyway, be it KL or PJ, they are almost like a single big city. Petaling Jaya, a town bordering KL, has been around since the 70's and was a former secondary forest land developed into a residential place.
Decided to drag Gordon with me for the PJ Half Marathon 2004. We're participating in Category A, the 21km run. It's coincidentally the 20th anniversary of the marathon, would be my second run since I graduated from secondary school. Filled up the forms for Gordon and myself and submitting them just before the closing time. Anyone interested in joining us? But you've to pay a penalty of RM10 though.
