The news right now is that I'm moving. I'm moving from Maryland with my parents to Missouri with a boy. All of my family has been wanting to know about him, especially since I'll be living with him several states away. Conveniently enough there was a baby shower for my cousin this weekend and everyone got to question me and give me advice. My aunt ( Read more... )

funny, i was thinking the brave thing just now too. i cried a lot when i left (brief as it was) but it was also a new adventure and so it wasn't bad crying, just a release of the bit of anxiousness i felt about new things. anybody would cry a little or a lot after leaving the house they lived in forever. i was still happy and i was thankful for the adventure that i got to live with daily. i also felt the way you do, i HAD to get out, it was killing me too. it was hard for me to pick up from there and come back here for that reason. just pomise me that no matter how you feel or how it works out you won't let anybody tell you that it is a bad idea. because i know that no matter what it will always be an exciting time in your life that will come out with something meaningful and special to you. i'm not going to wish you luck because you don't need it. everything will be fine.

Yeah, I'm really excited about this and I'm all about adventure and experience and trying something new. Everyone is excited for me but also just concerned. I'm surprised how so many people had stories of crying daily and being so scared and such.

that is definitely some news... when do you move? I hope he turns out to be a decent guy. I can imagine being lonely and scared in a new place when you don't know anyone else but said guy, but if he is a nice person he will help with that, I think. I take it you've met him in person before. I know when I lived with my mom I was always looking for opportunities to escape, looking for guys far away so that they could whisk me away out of this mess in MD. Sometimes that is really what it takes to get your life rolling. It depends on the kind of person you are and how well you know yourself. I hope the move does you all kinds of good. I wish you all the luck.

Yeah, he's amazing. Supporive, caring, eager to help me in any way I need... One of those people you didn't think you would ever find. I'm moving out there in about a week- on June 8th. I'll be back for aobut 2 months starting late August to do maid of honor stuff for my best friend's wedding. We should try to hang out then sometime. <3

that's encouraging. i think it's gonna be awesomely exciting. i'm jealous. I'm actually moving to Charlottesville, VA in late august for skool, i'm getting my bachelors from UVA, so i'll be there for the next two years. That was my backup escape plan if I didn't find the love of my life to whisk me off to a far off place. But if the first plan ever goes through... haha. But i'll be back in MD periodically. KEEP IN TOUCH, WOMAN! you are missed :(
