Conversation with the DELL guy

Ok...another interesting story on how i have no life. Recently i had a problem with my computer, it wasn't detecting the CD-ROM drive in the computer. I couldn't do anything for example, i couldn't burn CD's, watch DVD's, or even play music. Well i know a little about computers so i tried to fix it on my own first, but that was a complete failure. so last night i called the DELL Tech Support guys to try to fix the problem. *If you haven't ever called DELL Tech Support, you are transferred to a group of Indians in India that will help you. Sometimes it is hard to understand them with their accents.* Well i was talking to this Indian guy named Andy and we were going through all the steps that were needed to try and fix the problem. But nothing worked, so he then had me open up the computer itself to check the connections. I followed his every word and was trying to fix the problem. We still didn't fix it. Then the Dell guy told me that we have done everything we can and that the problem is probably inside the CD-ROM itself. As he said that i noticed a small free cable inside the computer. it wasn't connected to anything at the time. But i described it to the guy very carefully and when i was finished this is exactly what he said, "THAT WOULD BE THE CD-ROM CABLE" i cracked up because of his accent. Just imagine Abu off of Simpsons saying that. i felt so stupid because once we plugged it back in, everything worked perfectly. I felt so stupid because i spent 45 minutes trying to solve the problem and it was just a loose cable. BUT IT WAS FUNNY.
