Well if you couldn't tell by the title, im about to tell you about an experience i had at the local kinkos. It started when i walked through the door. My objectives were to buy some large paper and to scan one picture for an english project due tomorrow. i walked through the door and immediately had to wait in line to talk to someone. Once it was my turn, i gave him the picture and asked if they could scan it and send it to my e-mail, they said no, so instead i had to buy a floppy disk for them to put it on. Then they said the picture wouldn't be ready until Wednesday afternoon! It was only one picture about the size of an index card. Since i needed it tonight, i couldn't do that. I was able to get the paper i needed, but now i needed to use one of the personal scanners in the back. (If you've never been to Kinkos, you put money onto a card and then you use the card in the different computers or copiers) Anywho, i went to where the scanner was and inserted my card (i only put $2 on it, which would give me about 7 minutes to scan the picture). I went to scan the picture and the computer didn't recognize the scanner, so i wasted about a minute and half before it told me that. I then grabbed someone working there and she fixed the problem, but then i had to put my card in and when i went to scan my picture for the second time it took another minute and a half just for the scanner to warm-up. I then finally got the picture scanned and went to save it on a floppy and it was to big, but it didn't tell me for about 45 seconds. I then made it a less quality and saved again and it fit but by this time i had used up all my minutes. So in the end, the scan cost about 2 dollars and i hope i never have to go to kinkos again.
