slight timeline shenanigans for lulz; it's been awhile since she was doing this a lot XDwaterfellNovember 14 2011, 06:47:25 UTC
[Busy night tonight for thieving senshi. Mercury seems quite pleased with herself, lips pulled up in a rather proud smirk and with something held tightly in her hand. It glimmers blue, like a gem, but with an otherworldly glow.
She looks up to find herself right in V's apartment. She stops short, the crystal is secreted somewhere about her, and her hand reaches for her sword, which obligingly materializes in her hand. She stays with it ready, but without attacking. The smirk is wholly gone.]
V turns around to look at the source and blinks. "Ah, you again." She had met the girl once before, though it was brief. However, V never forgot a face. Walking with a slight limp, she sits down on the couch, the golden apple she had procured sitting on the end table next to her. Reaching under the couch, she pulls out a first aid kid, fully intending to take care of her wounds and not caring that the other girl was invading her privacy.
"Looks like the Nexus is having fun again." The only reasons he didn't de-henshin was due to the burn on the top of her thigh; she had been wearing jeans when she transformed, so putting skinny jeans around a burn was probably a Bad Idea. And yes, it deserved capitals.
She gives a glance to the golden apple. Jupiter would have pounded either of them for tonight's escapades (or in Mercury's case, tried), and somehow that thought - no, no of course it doesn't almost feel like camaraderie.
"Seems so," she says simply, before turning her eyes back to the thief. This would be the moment, while Venus is already wounded, to attack; she can't help her mind noting that.
She doesn't do it, somehow, though she can't erase her frustrations with Venus either: for humiliating her by making her wrong about the princess' identity, for her alternate's comments about wanting to take everything away from her, for being willing to take the place of the princess and let her escape scot-free, for being a senshi.
Wincing as she applied ointment to the burn, V answered without looking up. "Well, this is my apartment. Putting it in the suite of one of Japan's top idols would be the last place anyone would look for it. Come tomorrow, it'll be donated to a museum in London, who will in turn make a generous donation to the women's shelter I happen to be supporting." She blew some hair out of her eyes, pulling out a wrap bandage from the kit.
V, for her part, is rather calm as she sits down, tending to her wounds. "Either you're some strange fangirl - in which case, I'm calling security - or the Nexus is playing games again."
Still trying to mend her burned leg, V sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose before glaring at her doppelganger. "Look, I've had a rough night, and right now? I have a headache the size of Mt. Fuji. So shut up, sit down, and stay silent for five minutes while I fix this burn, and I'll tell you what's going on, all right?" V's tone, cold and almost emotionless, told her other self that she wasn't fooling around. It would probably (no, would) be best if the other V did as she was told, for the moment.

The blue rainbow crystal of another world.

"What did you bring that apple here for?"
