She hadn't expected anyone else; but of course: the nexus. She accepts it easily at the end, with her mind on the events unfolding in front of her. A part of her mind can imagine the reactions the others would have to this. There is nothing beautiful in it, to her. She shakes the images free with an effort, and turns to her companion.
"Loof Merrow." She doesn't bother with the ironical smile. "This world is ending, isn't it?"
"Blessed or cursed, who knows?" This, apparently, is the important identifier to Mercury. Secondary are the concerns of what people lived here - if any - or what progress their civilizations made.
"I can't watch this that happily," Mercury says, without blame but simply as an expression of her own viewpoint. It represents an ending; she's never been good at accepting that.
"I won't allow it for mine. That's our decision." They've all chosen to fight so that there will not be some end determined by a girl's whim, or a monster's ambition, or anything equally flimsy.
And by now, she may very well mean that they intend to simply fight fate when that time comes, too.
Mercury only rages against it this much because they've seen it. And no one wants to see it again - perhaps least of all Kunzite, who may seem callous but remains driven by his memories of exactly that sight.
"You have a long way to go," Mercury remarks with typical arrogance.
