There's no better way to show off his strength than by breaking things. Right now, those things would be tree limbs (from a neighbor's brush pile and Nephrite even actually asked permission; he's definitely changing). He pulls them apart as easily as if they're twigs, and gathers them into a large heap in the center of a stone ring he's constructed outside the house the shitennou live in in this world.
He then applies a very generous amount of lighter fluid (who actually sold that to him?) over the heap, and stands a safe distance back before shooting a small ball of flame right at the pile. It ignites at once, flaring into brilliant yellows and oranges and reds that seem to light up the whole sky. Nephrite throws back his head and lets out a whoop of triumph at being able to do these things again.
Time to enjoy a bonfire.
