The prince is getting serious. Depending on perspective, this is either admirable or so unusual as to be scary. He sits on the edge of his bed, lost in thought for some time

He nods. "I'm fine. But what about everyone else?" His family, the shitennou, even the servants. "Are they in safety?"
He doesn't answer the second question. He doesn't know how. He has to wonder if this is what the doomsayers mean when they talk about tragedies. But how can being in love make the earth shake?
A love that can move mountains might not be all it's cracked up to be.
He shakes his head. "No. It's nothing." Any of the shitennou would only advise him to listen to those nagging worries and even cut off contact with the Moon. He's not ready to do that. He's not sure he ever will be.
"The servants should be cleaning up, so let's spend awhile out of the way." His room maybe? Out in the fields or the woods?
Right. And see him not talking? That means he doesn't want to. They walk the rest of the way in silence, careful to avoid anything broken on the floor. Finally, they come to a side entrance of the palace and head outside towards the forest.
They pass some debris, mostly dead tree limbs shaken down, but nothing looks too bad or irreparable.
"Thankfully, nothing looks too damaged," the prince pronounces. He kneels and places a hand to the ground to confirm it. This planet it his and flows through him as surely as the sailor senshi's planets and elements flow through them. He rises once satisfied.
Doesn't matter. The palace will blame his relationship with the princess, thanks to the mutterings of old prophets that he's sure have never known a girl much less fallen in love with one.
"Jadeite, what do you know about the situation so far?" The question is blunt, but not accusatory; he's probing to find out whether this is the Jadeite of his own world.
That's Jadeite for you. Only minutes ago, and he already has a full report. There are times Endymion realizes how fortunate he is to have the shitennou. He grins.
"Man, you don't stop even in the middle of an earthquake, do you?"
Endymion all but snickers, holding it back with some trouble. "He's probably just afraid someone will find him and put him to work," he suggests. Did he mention appreciating the shitennou? Yeah, it doesn't mean he won't tease.
The prince seems blissfully ignorant of the obvious fact that he's out here where he won't be found and put to work either. He keeps his grin a short while longer before he sits on the ground, heedless of the white uniform that will need cleaning later now.
"I wonder if it might be bigger next time," he says finally.
