Encounters of the Third Kind ♥
The nexus seemed to decide on it's own (as it always does) that Sailoruranus would be paying a visit to Earth. It's achingly lonely in the depths of space. Maybe the nexus was being merciful today, relieving Uranus of her duty when the proud and resolute senshi wouldn't abandon her own post no matter for how brief a period. With th the memories of that Earth fresh in her mind, with its blue seas like the eyes of the princess of Neptune and its warm wind that fills her with strength. The delicate flowers that find the courage to bloom even where they might get trampled, and the laughter of people, so many people, she's missed it.
It's night, but there are lights on in the school track field. Not all of them, there's no event going on. It's cool enough to merit a light sweater, but it's not cold. There's a lone runner in a tank top and capri running pants on the track, racing as if chasing the wind. It's been such a long time, isn't she tired yet?
Tenou Haruka finally slows to walk a lap and then stops by an opening in the fence that leads up to the bleachers. She takes a seat, pulling up the stopper on a sports bottle and downing a good bit of the water, before toweling down her face and neck. She works her fingers through her short hair, and glances up towards the night sky. There's no moon tonight.
