"Yes," says a voice. "But Fire is weak to Water. Hello, Hino-san! It's been awhile."

The hostilely amused voice belongs to a blue-haired girl dressed in what looks like a heavily modified school sailor uniform. It's mostly blue itself, with black accents and several charm hung from her ears, the choker collar at her neck, and a chain around her waist.

Rei blinks, drawing up completely to her full height, and glances from the stranger to Charmeleon. She's not sure who this woman is, but she won't rule out foul play, not when they've dealt with so much from Team Rocket recently. Charmeleon nods to indicate he's ready, and she turns her attention fully back to the oddly dressed woman.

"Who are you, and how do you know my name?"

"Of course I know my friends!" The sarcasm is pretty much dripping, there. But she's taken the hint that this may somehow be a Rei who doesn't know the senshi; she looks young, for starters.

"From the Dark Kingdom, senshi of Water and Knowledge, Mercury."

Nope. No recognition at all. Although the pose and over-dramatic introduction sound like something Rocket would do.

"Mercury, like the planet? Right. What happened, did they finally decide to replace Zoisite? Took them long enough, his disguises were horrible!"

Rei turned to see the woman who looked somehow suspiciously familiar, but shrugged it off after a moment. Obviously the woman had seen the match, from the look on her face, so Rei brushed away the disappearance of her friends and smiled brightly.

"Why thank you! I've worked really hard with him to get this far!"

"What's his name?" Hanako asks, her eyes still on the pokemon. And it has fire on its tail! Ooh! That's so... cute and new!

"Charmeleon!" the little dragon answered for himself, making Rei laugh.

"He's really friendly," she told the officer. At least, he was with anyone not named Usagi. "You can come closer, he won't bite."
