A Truce of Sorts
Daniel and I finally declared a truce on the fighting for the simple reason that we're both exhausted, and we hate being mad at each other. This is a good thing, although I know that none of the issues have been resolved and unless a compromise comes about organically, this is just a calm between storms. But Hell I'll take it for now. I need the break. It's exhausting fighting with someone you love and also holding down a job. Anyway, I'm grateful. :) We decided that renting for awhile was a good way to go anyway because we probably won't settle in DC. So long as I get to share a dwelling with him, I can be blissfully happy. I'm also happy because in return Daniel has taken to heart some of the comments I made about our needing to spend more time together during the week so that I can feel connected. He invited me out to eat yesterday completely at random, and we had a great time. Compromise is always good. Anyway, that's all for now. I hope everyone else has a decent week, and I'll try to update more.
