So I guess fate's funny in that 'kick you in the nuts, but I'm not going to let you know why' type of way. I have no idea why I'm so torn and- I don't want to say unhappy. That's not it. But- I feel like there's something... missing? Maybe?

HAT rehearsals are going great. Josh is doing a great job directing and I'm really enjoying working with Katie and Miyuki again (as well as the rest of the cast). Went and saw the new Family Guy at Josh's with some people after. Got a little drunker than expected. Got freaked out, as I tend to do kind of easily sober anyway... gah, I'm such a wuss. It was nice to go out and hang with people instead of having them all come here, though.

Work is going at a pretty full pace. I'm manipulating my hours like a master, though.

I've acquired a few video game OST's: Bust-A-Groove, all of the Silent Hills, Sonic Adventure and some other Sonic games, Final Fantasy (all of them EVER), Katamari Damacy... and so now, I'm putting them on CD. Making my own covers. It's fun. This leads me into my next commentary and discussion question:

I was making the CD cover for Silent Hill and decided to use Lisa Garland, everyone's favorite nurse, as the cover image. Almost instantly, when 'Not Tomorrow 1' came on, I started tearing up. So here's my question(s):

#1: Has a video game ever made you cry? If so, how?

#2: Who's your favorite tragic character? Keep it within video games, if you can, but you can feel free to make mention of others. I, for one, find Ophelia from 'Hamlet' to be possibly my favorite classical tragic character.

So, there. Discuss away. :) As for me, Miss Lisa Garland does take my number one spot for favorite tragic character. Her entire ending scene (and guys, if I'm ruining it, I'm not sorry. It's been a LONG time since the game came out) was so eerily melancholy and the music made it even more so. A sweet girl trapped in the world of Silent Hill... ::sigh::

All right, I'm gonna head off. However, as a note, I'll be sending out the beat reads for the comic after a little more feedback and revising. No worries!

Later!
