I think my internet is...semi-back to normal. Most of the time, it's working. *Most* of the time is something, right? And MSN stopped signing me in every three seconds, which is a relief. I *really* hate .NET passports. I'll sign *myself* in, when I'm actually available/want to talk, thank you very much.
Anyway...
1.
Updated In the Morning. Got asked how much darker it would get. And...um...yeah. The annoying thing about huge, elaborate plots: you can't loosen up *too* much and show the happiest times. Happy times don't generally lend themselves to plot :P Which means Lera/Nichyn & co. get too little exposure--and I had a whole sub-plot planned out for them! Well, another version of ItM to come... *headdesk*
2. Made a Lilly Kane lj header. Go
here to see it. I'm actually kind of proud, though not a huge fan of Lilly :) I know, I know. I should stay away from Photoshop. Forever. But it's *fun* :P
3. I have taken to slaughtering Roswell fanfic PB's. Because they are *not* allowed to live. Fortunately,
good Roswell fanfic is a huge help. I knew I'd find could find some in the
slushpile! Except, most of it *wasn't* in said slushpile. But I got links from there, so, yay ;p
4. There's an opportunity for high school graduates to work in the House of Commons for a year. Colour me geek, but that sounds *really* interesting :D
5. If the internet holds out (unlike the past 8-9 days), I think I'll get a paid account...I want icons :D
6. Oh. And started driving classes tonight. Just theory, right now, but the "realistic" completion target is 3-4 months. Also - y2? Get your L. They've boosted the "L" period from 12 months to 16, and they're planning to increase it again pretty soon. Do you really want to take 4 years to get your full license?
7. May I die of shock? We are actually starting to do...some...stuff in Comp. Civ.! O_o I mean, I actually have to *read* something.... :P
8. I should not be allowed into the library's history book collection. Ever. Again. It's scary. I now have about nine hardcover books about Russia (Catherine the Great, as well as pre-, during and post-revolution), English monarchs, and possibly something about the Celts...and I left a lot of books I still wanted.
