Quick update (but not that kind)

Mar 25, 2009 15:30

I'm currently procrastinating writing my 7 page LING paper that's due tomorrow, so this is quick. Basically, very sorry about the delay in IYC's posting--this weekend was *insane* (we got back at 3am on Monday, for example, and that was after very little sleep), and one of my sisters turned 18, so it's all be sort of...yes. And now with the paper. ( Read more... )

I KNOW. It's even weirder than personally being 20. Megan's barely in high school, right? She can't actually have *finished classes* and be applying to YWAM/colleges. I expect to be heavily in denial once she starts nursing school.

Dude. That's almost weirder than *my* sisters, probably because I haven't seen yours in a while. Grade 11, really? Wow.

No, she's going to Douglas for gen studies --> nursing (they actually have a very good program there). She's still planning on YWAM somewhere before or during her gen studies, though I don't really know where she'll get the $$. But she isn't planning on UofA at all, I don't think.

I'm glad it's getting better, though I would have selfishly loved it if you came back :P Is it better now that the weather is lightening up, or did you actually manage to work something out?

yeah, she is almost as tall as me now :S

oh sweet =) well one of my friends here is transferring to ubc and her husband is a nurse who is probably going to relocate to vgh, so if megan has any questions about the actual job (I know they have diff subtypes, but still) maybe i can get her husband's email and megan can shoot him some questions?

yeah, although i don't know how often i'd end up seeing you anyway during the school year anyway :P both, i think..up til a week ago it was still going over -20 .. i think it was really the scabies misdiagnosis and subsequent treatmentx2 that did it.. so w/o it, i should be fine =)

Thanks! She's actually had a lot of luck finding nurse mentors/sources--our neighbour (Jessica, if you remember her) is even going through the Douglas nursing program right now. I'll let her know, though :)

Yeah, I know. I'm glad it worked out :)
