2nd walkies!

This time James and I walked him together for about half an hour. My hips are still screaming at me, but I took some panadol to ease it down. Tibby was more worked up because it was evening/night and all the people returning home in their cars are bright beacons of attention to him.  However, he is a lot calmer now after that walk and is relaxing without his chewing bone!

Tomorrow I will have to rest to heal the soreness in my hips and also because we have a lot we need to do on saturday. We have a friend coming over in the afternoon to say hi and in the morning we have to do some run around. Medicare, vet calling to book an appointment for registration and to get him desexed. But I will make an effort to at least take him for another 30 min walk.

Sunday is our usual go to dnd so we wont get home until the evening. I am debating if I should walk him since we will be home late in the evening. We might leave a bit early so that we can walk him in daylight.

Monday will be several hours spent in a park to let him run around and go nuts with a little bit of training thrown in. We do train every day, but Monday will be the day I start using the training collar to get him to stop tugging the leash. Right now I am getting him used to wearing his harness.

I'd have taken photos but my camera seems to have died :( For some reason it turns off then shuts off right away. It has fresh batteries too. I can try to take a few pictures with my phone, but they won't be good quality.

I feel proud that we managed to tire him out. It's clear he is not used to so much exercise so this is a good thing. I think a lot of what he suffers from us pent up energy that needs to be worked off. Right now he is a mellow fellow.

I am happy to day that he can be left in the backyard for some time to relax and chill without fear of him trying to get out. He does whine and whimper at the door, but stops as soon as he realizes that he isn't getting in right away. I should not be surprised since he was pretty much left in the backyard all the time.

He is a work in progress, but overall I am happy.
