shopping fun!
So, yesterday Amanda and I had a super fabulous time with Ashley and Pauline and Amanda's mom. We left super early and drove down to Manchester Mall where we shopped around until 1:30 and then headed to lunch at the 99. While we were there we brought out the cake that Amanda and I had baked the night before, and all of us, including some of the 99 staff, sang her happy birthday. After a quick stop at Sams Club, we headed back just in time for Ashley to head to work.
We then drove to Amanda's house and freshened up and headed out to the movies where we watched Live Free or Die, the independent film shot "completely on location in Claremont, NH." It's not completely false, most of it was. But, there were plenty of scenes that were shot in other parts like Rutland and ASCUTNEY! A good portion of the convenience store scenes were shot at the Neighbors in Ascutney. The bar in the movie was shot in Windsor at the Top Hat! For an independent movie, I thought it was really good, it had a solid plot, pretty good acting, and even though the volume between the movie and music could have been adjusted, it was really good production. Go see it!
Afterwards Amanda and her mom dropped me off at my house, and after updating my LJ and eating some food I headed right to bed, I was super tired! I got a great night's sleep and now I'm ready to conquer another week. ( I think. Blech.)
