As usual, loved it. You write some very nice "McBeth nookie". I only wish we could have had a little of that on the show. You would think I would be over the cancellation by now. At least we still have talented writers like you to keep us entertained.

Why, thank you! I too wish we could have at least had one love scene with them on the show. That is the main reason I started writing Moonlight fanfic. I still have hopes for a reunion show someday. But at least we'll see Alex on Hawaii Five-0 in the Fall, along with James Marsters (if you're a Buffy fan!).

ps: I always get a bit hung up on the practicalities regarding JoBe of how they would make it work in actuality. On the other hand: Josef did shoot an especially disappointed look to Beth after being accused of Maureen's murder didn't he?

Sometimes its hard to remember that Mick is a vampire, so I make myself throw in stuff like that every once in awhile. (I mean, I'd love Mick even if he weren't a vampire.) As for Josef and Beth, I think if Josef had seen her first, there might have been quite the love affair--for as long as Beth could put up with HIM. But any way you look at it, someone will get her in this triangle (or square, if you include Simone). I'll be exploring all this in the future.

Beth/Mick has to be one of the most well-behaved and wholesome 'ships I follow (I read Teyla/Michael in Stargate: Atlantis, Sylar/Claire in Heroes, River/Jayne in Firefly, and of course Spike/Buffy in BtVS . . . with occasional friskiness from Jack/Sam in Stargate: SG1; if I stopped to think about it, I might be a bit worried by this pattern, so I try not to think too much!).

I just saw the news that apparently James Marsters (Spike) will be appearing on the new Hawaii 5-0 series as the criminal nemesis of Alex O'Loughlin (Mick). Now, if only they were still playing their vampire characters and squaring off against each other, I'd be in fan heaven.
