My New Year Resolution is to keep up with my LJ again. I also plan on getting an earlier start on my homework assignments.
So here goes:
Well my hubby’s new job worked out very well. It was great having him home more often. But sadly, the company he worked for, CompUSA, was recently sold to liquidators. So in a few weeks he will once again be out looking for work.
UCF is ok, but they cannot keep their paper work straight. The admin. department is constantly losing my paperwork. One of the lackeys down there did not put my audit in right, so now when I have to sign up for classes I have to get department overrides for almost all of my classes and I cannot sign up in advance for summer or fall classes-all because THEY did my audit wrong and are unwilling to fix it. *SUCK* so now I have to take classes at crazy hours and I have to drive all over god’s green earth to do so.
The kids are doing well. They had an excellent Christmas. Josh got lots of Star War toys and Josie received 2 more webkinz. Yep, she is into the webkinz. But it seems harmless enough and I am not indulging her whims like other parents I know. She got one for her birthday and then the two for Christmas. Several of her friends have 15+ webkinz! I think that is nuts. This past grading period Josie made the honor roll. J Josh is doing well too. Because he is in the autistic program they do not get grades like “A’s” or “B’s” which is one thing I have a problem with-but what can I do? This program is one of the best in this area. I just wish the school would honor the autistics classes as well as the others.
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. I’ve been enjoying the break for college. I rather dread going back. All my classes this semester is at night-which I hate-plus I am still trying to find child care for some of the classes. But I think I will be able to do it.
