Well it’s been a long summer. We’ve had a lot of fun this summer. We went to the movies, the beach, St. Augustine, bike riding, roller skating, we also went and visited places and family in Tennessee and Georgia. We saw the full scale model of the Parthenon in Nashville Tennessee, President Andrew Jackson’s mansion, the Chickamauga battlefield, the great Smokey Mountains, and Clingman’s dome-which is the 3rd highest peak in the Appalachian mountain range. We saw lots of wildlife, birds, bob cats, and even a coyote. Josie got to spend time with her cousins, Kayla and Meme, and got to go horseback riding. She is now in love with it. LOL.

I have also been busy with transferring from the community college to UCF this summer. It was a surprising amount of paperwork and hoops to jump through. It would seem as if I would get one form filled out then another form needed to be filled out. Plus my schedule is all mixed up. But I think it is workable. *keeps fingers crossed*

My hubby also got fired recently-this past Saturday in fact. But he should be starting a new job with a bigger company this coming week-Wednesday or Thursday. He will be making a bit less money, but he will be working fewer hours. These past 3 or 4 years he has been working 70+ hours a week-and since he was on salary he never got overtime pay-never! But this new company is only going to give him 40 hours. I’m excited and nervous at the same time.

Well the kids start back to school tomorrow, they are not excited. They hate to get up so early for school. And I don’t blame them. I don’t like it either. Hopefully I’ll have them in bed soon. My Monday class isn’t until 5pm. Erik will be able to watch the kids for me tomorrow, but I don’t know about next week. My neighbor said she would watch the kids for me-but she may be leaving in the next few weeks so I have no idea what I’m going to do….I’m hoping she won’t have to leave, but if she does my mother in law may know someone at her church who would like to earn a little extra money for watching them.
