Not much going on, I don't really want to go out and do anything since I'm sure most places will be crowded due to the holiday weekend. Latter today we're going over to my mother-in-laws for a cook-out.

I did go out the other day to a lovely little park called Gemini Springs that is just down the road from here. Lots of wildlife--we saw tons of birds, fish (the water is crystal clear since it's an underground spring) and even a coral snake! The park ranger said they even see manatee sometimes and laster year they had to remove a 14 foot gator! One thing about living here in Florida, the wildlife can be impresive.

Anyways I took my camera and took some pictures of the kids, mainly for my mom and sister, who misses Josh and Josie. I also got a few good pics of the park. So click if you wanna see them.

Not far behind where Josh and Josie is standing is another Indian Mound. Not as impressive as Turtle Mound, but still kind of cool. This is also where we spotted the coral snake.

Just one of the many docks over looking the springs.

One of Josie's silly faces.

Here is Josh on the fishing dock.

A Blue Heron. Somewhat of a common bird, but still very pretty.

This use to be a swimming hole, but as you can see they are having trouble with the duckweed. Also the spring is not putting out enough water to keep the bacteria levels down to a safe level. So as of now it is closed for the summer. To be honset, I don't care what the bacteria level is, I am not going swimming anywhere there has been 14 foot long gators.

That's all for now.
