Stormy Songs for Stormy Days

I had a REALLY crappy day at work today. I mean I've had not-so-good days before where things go wrong, but today's "bad day" had nothing to do with that, it was more of a why-do-I-do-much-work-if-I'm going-to-be-belittled-so-much kinda crappy day. My 2 hour meeting turned into a 4 hour meeting, and at the end of it, what I really wanted to do was listen to Aiba's "Hello Goodbye" for some strange reason. And that's what I did. I don't know if it made me feel better or not, but I was satisfied having listened to it.

Then a friend called me and asked if I wanted to go out, and oddly enough I was thinking of calling her and asking her the same thing, just because I felt I really needed to get my mind off of work things. But I was hesitant because a storm was brewing and I was sure the rain was going to hit any minute. Anyways it did start to rain as we met for ice cream, and as we decided to leave the downpour was TORRENTIAL, so my friend said we should wait a bit. I said I thought we should go out, it'll be fun to get drenched in the rain. And get drenched in the rain we did. It was AWESOME. We got soaked to the bone just running to our cars...and I was wearing heels so I couldn't run but that added to the fun. I got into my car dripping wet, but giggled all the way home and felt much better.

Isn't it funny how sometimes the simplest things in life are the ones that can bring the most happiness?

Speaking of happiness, did I mention how much I LOVE Ohno? I can't wait for the day we get married and adopt Chinen *delusions* lol. I am so impressed with his acting in "Maou", he portrays each emotion so realistically!  His calm demeanor, his evil smile, the sadness in his eyes...the first episode alone left me speechless. I know I love Ohno and all but I can be subjective and if his acting sucked I would have said it sucked. But it's the opposite, I'm blown away at how well he does. I have to give Toma credit too, he does an incredible job as the detective, especially his heart wrenching cry at the end. Wow...I can't wait to see how this drama progresses, and as it does I hope it's ratings go up, it looks like it deserves it!!!
