Conversation Number 1: The usual Arashi duel
So my friend and I were talking the other day as usual about Arashi, and also as usual, I tried to push her buttons about Sho and she pushed mine about Ohno. (We're both possessive of our ichibans...not in a psycho way though of course! Not in a I-want-to-have-Ohno-all-for-myself kinda psycho...nooo, not at all! :P ) So this is how our conversation went:
Me: Japanese guys aren't that tall
Machan: Not at all, but Hirai Ken is really tall
Me: That's true, but I'm convinced that's because Hirai Ken isn't really Japanese (it's true, I don't think he is)
Machan: Whatever, he's just awesome because he loves Sho
Me: Ohno really loves him too
Machan: Who, Sho?
Me: NO, Hirai Ken...but everyone does love Sho too *wink wink*
Machan: Yeah okay, everyone loves Sho, but everyone loooooooooves Ohno *wink wink*
Me: WHATEVER, everyone wants a piece of Sho!
Machan: Yeah but everyone GETS a piece of Ohno! Hahaha
Me: .............. dammit! It's becuase of Nino, it's all his fault! Damn you hamburger hands!!!!!
I have jealous feelings towards Nino because of his... closeness with Ohno. If that's what it can be called. Anyways yes machan, I lost that one. Sigh...
Conversation Number 2: The Hair Appeal... or lack thereof
I know this is a topic that is near and dear to everyone's hearts: JE boys' hair. By now everyone has seen Jun's permed "Momo" hairstyle, at times coupled with dark rimmed glasses. What's more is that Yamapi seems to have adopted this hairstyle and overall look as well. Even more alarming is that Ryo is the third known person to have taken this on. Unflattering as the hairstyle is, what is it that made three top JE idols decide to change their hairstyles to seem as though they were collectively electrocuted? (Ryo in particular) This is my rendition of what I think happened:
Jun: I miss my Momo days, I want to bring them back *goes off and gets a perm*
Yamapi: Jun-senpai! You look so kakkoi!
Jun: Yes, I believe every JE idol should have black permed hair.
Yamapi: *runs off to stylist* Make me look like him *shows Jun's picture*
Stylist: Err, are you sure?
Yamapi: Yes! Now, where can I get black rimmed glasses from?
*Yamapi shows up at Seventeen interview with his new look, Ryo watches on TV*
Ryo: OMG Yamapi, what did you do?! Hmm, but he's getting lot's of attention. My drama is ending soon and a lot of people don't like my character anyways. I need to do something drastic too! *runs off to stylist* Make me look like him *shows Yamapi's picture*
Stylist: Err, are you sure?
Ryo: Yes! Now, where can I get black rimmed glasses from?
*Jun, Yamapi and Ryo all enter the JE building at the same time*
JE Junior #1: OMG, they're all clones.
JE Junior #2: Maybe that's what JE does to you.
JE Junior #1: I don't want to turn into a clone! *runs off screaming*
*Jun, Yamapi and Ryo look at each other and shrug. They fix their hair, adjust their glasses and walk off*
It's interesting how hairstyles dictate a large part of a JE boys popularity at the moment. In any case, we will continue to love them, hairstyles and all.
