(no subject)
We ran home to Midland this last weekend. Mike's car had an annoying thing that needed to be fixed and the parts and tools were in Midland. We decided to make a flying trip home and even take Sampson with us. Sampson travels well, although there was some meowing until he learned just to curl up and sleep in the car. We had a plan incase Sampson didn't get along with Snickers (cat) and Shelby (sheltie) but we hoped they would all get along. I was surprised how well Sampson and Snickers got along and so quickly. Sampson was still leary of Shelby when we left but his reaction was to run away from her and she has lived with a cat so she doesn't chase. Mike got everything fixed and hung out with his family including a quick baby shower for his cousin.
Sampson was very happy to come home. It was really funny he keeps checking out his favorite places and toys to make sure they are the same. He has been following me around more today then normal, I think he is still a little weirded out by the travel but none worse for wear. We were told he was welcomed back at anytime since he behaved so well and got along so well with snickers. It was good to see that he gets along with other animals and adapts well to new situations.

Well I'm back. So last weekend we were in Midland and this coming weekend my parents are coming to Kzoo to visit us. It should be a good time.
I am still on the lookout for out next location, we are going to go look at a house this evening and it might be a winner. The only problem I know as of right now is it is on the other side of town so I would have to relearn things like the grocery store but that is life. This house would fit many of our needs and we are starting to run out fo time so hopefully it will be a good fit and everything will move forward quickly.
Well I am going to spend an afternoon doing laundry and housework...yipee.
