(no subject)
Life has been very busy around here. I have been working close to full weeks recently. This past week I had two schools fighting over me...nothing like an ego boost.
I am currently working a short longer job if that makes sense. I am lifeguarding for a PE class for a week and a half and then again in April for three weeks. Yeah for prearranged jobs. I enjoy the work, I am working with a PE teacher that I have become friends with so we enjoy talking and working together.
My hunt for our next living situation has heated up and I am looking into where we are going to end up. I have been contacting different managment groups and scouring our choices online and in the paper.
I have a cold...most likely from some student... I think I have turned the corner. My head has finally cleared up and the coughing has started...I am just glad that my head no longer feels like it is full of snot! There have been many teachers out and many kids missing even up to a week of school. I had excaped the sickness up until now which I felt good about and I seem to have only caught a cold when there is much worse going around. I have escaped the flu, eye infections (appeared at two seperate schools) strep, mono, ring worm, lice and who knows what else. I'll take the cold if I aviod everything else.
The kitty is doing well. He has become completely comfortable with our routines and has adjusted to me being gone most of the day. He is really funny to watch because me plays with himself. We have also discovered a new toy...the laser pointer. He loves it and after it is turned off he still is looking for it for a good while.
Life is treating us well and everything is normal. Ofcorse there are the stories from the day of subbing/lifeguarding, the child that puffs his cheeks up in the pool whenever he freaks out because the water is too deep for him to stand...
