Brrr
Well lets just say I am well aware that it hasn't been this cold in years!!! I ddn't go out sat or sun and plan to go out around 1 to the grocery store for maximum warmth. It is dang cold outside!!!! It is gorgeous to look at through our window, there is a while fluffy covering on all the evergreen trees, the apartment across the street has magnificant icicles hanging off the roof and every balcony but my as tempting as it may look out there it is dang cold. With wind chills between -30 and -15 all day brrr!!!
Jo came down for the Superbowl. It was fun to see her and it was the first time Sampson had met anyone new. His reaction was funny, he clawed his way out of my arms over my back and ran into our bedroom and hid. He did come out and peek around the corner a few times but he was freaked out. Mike lured him out with treats and he finally ate one off Jo's hand. Once we were all sitting down and just chillin he was sniffing her and finally got comfortable enough that she could pet him and he was fine with that. I didn't expcet his reaction to be one of such fright but I learned my lesson, don't hold the cat when introducing him to someone new.
It was amazing I worked three days as a sub last week and I have two prescheduled jobs for this week. I finally have been requested and that was a good feeling. The heavens seemed to have opened with sub jobs and I am finally getting called in enough time to actually get to a location. If I get called at 6:15 I can run around like a chicken with its head cut off and make it to a school on time. THere was even one call I got before I went to bed, that was wonderful, then I knew I needed to get up early. I also got to teach a Bio/Forensics class and then the next day a German class. It was nice to finally get into classes where I can actually anwser some of the questions they ask.
Life overall is going well, I interviewed at the Kalamazoo Vally Museum and am still waiting for them to finish all the interviews and make a decision. I feel good about it since I have gotten a call from them to make sure I haven't forgotten about them, which made me feel good. I am still apartment shopping, keeping track of the choices in our neck of the woods. Laundry calls.
