The cat has been keeping me entertain while I search for possible jobs and fill out job applications. Since the wonderful weather has kept teachers healthy, I am still not working as often as i would like to be. I am looking into everything from tutoring to working at a local museum and other things that I can use my degree for or that I think I would enjoy.
I must say I am tired of filling out what my last jobs were, why I want to work there, here read all of this material...sigh. It would be nice if something pans out. So far I have either been told we will respond in x weeks or one position said they would call 2 weeks ago... most likely don't want to work for them if they can't call back even after I came to their facility and filled out an application and was told they would call.
Life is going fairly well, Mike just pulled a really long job. He worked from dinner on Friday (after working 8-5) and came home at 2am. He was tired for most of the weekend after that and was working on catching up on sleep. We are debating whether the wonderful overtime pay is worth him being so out of it.
My search for a new living arrangment continues, we have ruled out a lot of choices and we are to the point where it is almost sit and wait on the choices we like and see what is open around the time we want to move. When we got Sampson we narrowed our choices, but I think it was worth it. He is really handy to have around when Mike pulls overtime hours. Kitty and I cuddle up and watch movies.
