Ouchies...
Okay, since my last LJ entry, I have been crazy. I am a member of the Morrisville Fire Company, (yay!), as well as a member of the United States Air Force. Holy shit, right?
Well, I've also been getting more hours at Kohl's. Let me tell you about Black Friday...
Okay, it started with one hell of a day. I worked 9 hours in the Jewelry department...as if that wasn't bad enough. ::sigh:: So, I go home already for bed, at like, 6:00. A few friends come over including a guy from the fire company. We got a call at 20:15...normal procedure...we hop in a vehicle with blue lights and go to the firehouse to be dispatched. Hehe...tonight was anything but normal. When crossing through a major intersection, we got into a car accident. I am now suffering from a concussion and a messesd up shoulder. Arg...
So, now I am sitting here, out of work for at least a week, all because of a fire call. It's depressing too because I know that if I don't get better fast, then my Air Force career could be in danger, as well as the health and safety of my life. ::sigh:: sometimes I wonder, "Why me?"
