what have i been up to the past few days?
ummm...taking photos, among other things...
racked with guilt over the amount of water i use daily laundering sheets for my job, i finally decided to buy a new front-loader washer and dryer set. holy crap, they're awesome. here haris shows off his favourite new place to hang, the dryer:
i finally got around to re-finishing my poor dresser that's been half-bare for years. crackle paint is neat:
and in between painting coats, i took a trip with t to the towing yard this afternoon:
t: i'm here to get my belongings out of my '94 nissan altima that was towed here.
towing dude #1: you're not picking it up?
t: it was totaled in a head-on collision on leesville road the other night.
towing dude #1: what happened?
t: some lady was driving down the wrong side of the road, and ran straight into me.
towing dude #1 and #2: *wince*
towing dude #2: who was driving it?
t: i was.
towing dude #1 and #2: *laughing incredulously*
towing dude #1: man, you're lucky to be walking around out here!
