Glee Top 108 - #087 "Last Name"
Going to work my way through the 108 songs, hopefully one per day. This includes all 100 released singles, whether they appeared on the show or not, as well as 8 which were not, over the course of season 1. It was difficult for me to play favorites and put them all in some order, it’s just not something I’m comfortable at doing, but then I DID want to do it, so I buckled down and now here we are.

Oh how I loves me some Cheno! And we would have to wait about eleven episodes for a proper April/New Directions duet, but still this one had a lot to offer! Didn’t Cheno rock her pink cowgirl look? And then our guys and gals in the cowboy outfits! They all looked great! Our Cheerios’ first de-ponytailification (yes!), awesome. And though it was our first performance with the latest additions, of course Rachel wasn’t there AND they didn’t sing, so… yeah… we all know what the real first one was!
Love me some silhouette! And the choreography, love love! Then of course, THE FIRST LITTLE MIKE/BRITTANY MOMENT, YAY BIKE! *cough* Cheno skittering around Artie always cracks me up. And big finish with April on top and big applause!
And the applause, oh how it fills her up… she finally got the moment she’d never had, and in getting it, she realized her path was changing… I really loved that. At the same time, there’s Rachel, wishing it was her up there, with her friends…
