Why did I not know about hp_paperpiecing?! Quilt piecing and Harry Potter, together? True love.
I still need to finish the pieced scarf that I started, stopped and the temporarily lost, plus I'm in the midst of making a coat and then I plan to finally put some old t-shirts to good use and make a quilt with those... but eventually I'll have to do something with some of those patterns. Check them out -- they're all very intricate and lovely. Simple, pixelated blocks are fine for many things, but so many blocks I see are over-simplified to the point of looking kind of cheap looking. Yay for the crafty folk!
