OMG, yes, he did put his all into that performance, didn't he? And I agree, he seemed tired, yet still very cordial. Hope he didn't wear himself out for the rest of the week!

And yes, he talked a lot, and it was all interesting. That's why I felt like I talked too much ... I feel like every time I said something, that was one less thing he had time to say. Plus he kept asking us questions; he was actually interested in li'l old us. (I wonder if that's how he stays so humble and grounded; I've heard other stories about him, not just fan stories, that suggest that he actually likes to hang around with "regular" people rather than being insulated and surrounding himself with cronies and showbiz folks all the time. For example, I recall reading in a pirate re-enactor's magazine a while back some extras saying he was the only major actor in the first POTC who hung out in the bar with them after filming at the end of the day. Which not only makes him a cool dude, but I'm sure that interacting with all different kinds of people contributes to why he is such a great actor.)

As for not asking more questions ... oh, I could have come up with lots of stupid questions for him, easy! But I restrained myself. (Actually, I think I did ask a few. Like whether he knew anything about this horrible, horrible movie my mother saw half of before walking out, After Last Season, that was taking up space in a major theatre while good independent films can't find a venue!)

PS: Forgot the other part of your question: Yes, he was extremely friendly! Almost too easy to talk to; apart from the subject matter we discussed, he kind of manages to make you forget that he's a famous movie star! Or was it just me?

Yep, that's Geoffrey and his super-soothing aura! It hits one later when you go and watch a movie with him in and then think "no way was I sat talking to him about normality"!

For someone so awesome, he really plays a normal person quite convincingly! ;)
