Not again !

Well following my teaching I was heading back to the office - it was really busy and the traffic was so ditzy and monday with folks on their mobiles, eating Gods knows what

Now Leeds has an inner ring road - it is an urban motorway - it is a dual carriage way and people drive like idiots most of the time

so the road goes under the city in a series

I Know exactly what you mean honey and you are spot on - I have a rather photographic memory for number and letter sequences and number plates are a thing I can remember on the smallest of views

I was sitting in the front room once when I heard tyres screaching and thought oh that doesnt sound right - its a small road in an estate with lots of kids ours and I went out as a blue car went up the street with a small kid hanging out of the window - I shouted oi - (yeah good that) and was told where to get off but the person driving seemed very small and the car was not going straight - as I went up the road I called it in and told the police the reg - the descriptions of the people in the car and then came round the corner to see them beconing a group of kids to get in one was about 5 the other was 7 and obviously supposed to be looking after the smaller one

'come for a rag in this' the driver said

as I approached the car I smelt dope and just slowed down - listened (I had told the police what I was doing and he said to do this) then after passing the car - no seatbelts and now about 8 kids in and beconing more - I got back to talking to the officer - a squad car was on the way and by the time I had held them up by walking very slowly right through them it was coming up the hill no siren on and as they set off like oh gods it was scary they only got about 500 yds and they were stopped and apprehended the car had been taken from a local car park about 10 mins before

the same kids stole one two weeks after and it ended up hitting a lamp post then flew into a field upside down and one was killed

but at least there werent 8 kids in when that happened I suppose

where was I going with that - oh yes - I have no compunction about calling the police - having in laws and step family who are in the force they always say just call

so I do
