First movie of 2011: Lost in Translation
First albums purchased in 2011: Brandi Carlile's "The Story", Carla Bruni's "Quelqu'un m'a dit", and BONNIE PINK's "Diary" (hooray for iTunes gift cards! and thanks for the suggestions, mujun!!)
Last book of 2010: Innocent Mage by Karen Miller
First book of 2011: Awakened Mage by Karen Miller
(Nothing like sending one year out and welcoming a new one in by reading questionable fantasy pseudo-epics!)
Greatest lamentation thus far of 2011: I am in desperate need of a haircut.
First goal of 2011: Set aside money each paycheck until I can afford a new laptop (by my calculations, this is achievable within 7 paychecks if I do $75 each time - will also add what I would spend every day on breakfast at Dunkin Donuts!!! In addition, thank parents and sister profusely for the Apple gift cards!!!)
Second goal of 2011: My best friend is getting married over the weekend of April 30-May 1. I need to figure out what I need to wear (I think it's supposed to be a shalwar kameez to the Mehndi and a sari to the Balat but I am WHITE and CONFUSED and POOR so I have sent desperate pleas for help)
Third goal of 2011: Get diet under control - get appointment with nutritionist and work on losing weight and controlling blood pressure
Fourth goal of 2011: Write in livejournal, if not everyday at least weekly, because I need the time to check in with myself and see how things are going
Fifth goal of 2011: GROVEL AND BEG FORGIVENESS.
I didn't forget or abandon LJland or any of you, I swear. I've just been getting things under control. I love you. <3
