accomplishment! :D

I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself at the moment. ^____^

I'm somewhat less pleased with my laundry. The eating-of-my-quarters the other day was not a fluke: the dryer is busted. Hopefully it's just something odd with the coin slots not being aligned or whatever. Having to truck down to the laundromat would suck.

Buttttt I do have clean clothes! Wet ones, but they'll dry eventually. I just hope "eventually" translates into "before six o'clock tomorrow" because I need to pack some of them.

That's right, pack!

The RPG players are heading down to Cape Cod to finish off the dungeon we've been crawling through. Why the Cape? Um...'cuz! Listen, I never said it was a good reason to go to Cape Cod, but the idea of playing games on the beach came up the last time we played and somehow it just fell together. HM!S's parents live down there, his girlfriend's parents all live down there, and CS's moms just bought a property by P-town, so there was something of a glut of availability.

We'll probably all end up crashing at HM!S's parents' place, for convenience's sake if not for sheer fun's sake. Slumber parties are something that girls never grow out of and it's been a while since our last one. :) I'm looking forward to this.

I'm also looking forward to seeing a bit of the Cape. Seven full years I've lived in Boston and I've never yet ventured down to Cape Cod. It's shameful, really. I know people who live there, I know people who travel there frequently, there are several public transit options for getting there, and yet I've never made the trip. Every time I have free time and cash for travel, I go to Salem. [[I freaking love Salem. Pretty town! Old buildings! Friendly and interesting people! Crazy "local" history that didn't even happen in Salem! The lame and wonderful New England Pirate Museum where they play albums of sea shanties that I already own! The Salem Beer Works which shares a parking lot with the Pirate Museum and has Pumpkinhead Ale all fucking year long, booyah! The Peabody Essex Museum which is stunningly gorgeous and hosts events for visitors from Salem's sister city in Japan, read: TAIKO!!!!]]

Anywho. Yes. The Cape. Um. There probably won't be much swimming, what with the Jaws Family Reunion and all, but there's apparently there's a lake not far from the HM!S-rents' house.

That's really the only news I have, other than that I can't seem to get the tea stains out of one of my shirts (I forgot to set the leaky mug aside, crap!, I have no idea which one it is) and now I need to go buy some new camisoles.

[[I love my music. <3]]

HEY!! THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE FULL METAL ALCHEMIST! Check this out! And spread the word!
