A weekend that went by too fast!!
It was another amazing weekend!!!!
Friday evening I went to the Burdick/Larrabee crush party with Eric Schluessel. It was a pretty nice time. We ate some of the yummy munchies they had out, chatted with lots of people, and enjoyed the mellow live jazz music in the background. I was gonna have a little wine too but I forgot my ID and was really too lazy to go back and get it :P It was nice though. Got to chat with a lot of people I don't get to chat with very often! And got to hang out with Eric who I hardly ever see anymore!!!
After we got bored at the party, we went back to my room and got in touch with Cassie and Julia and they came over and we all watched my new DVD of "The Wedding Singer." I LOVE that movie! I have seen it like 8 times but I was laughing just as hard as the first time. And the end always gets me...well, I won't write what it is in case anyone hasn't seen it :P But it's a very sweet ending!!! At any rate, we all enjoyed it and got our laughs for the day :) After the movie, we hung out for awhile and then called it a night.
Saturday I slept in and got up and got ready and went to lunch with Julia. Then at 1, Ben came to see me!!! We had such a great day! He ended up staying for 12 hours but it didn't feel that long at all. It was such a lovely day, so we took a nice walk in the arbo and around campus. We had a lot of time to just hang out and talk which was great :) For dinner we went to Valentinos, the Italian restaurant that I went to with Sam one time, and it was really good. After dinner, we walked around in downtown Mystic for awhile and got ice cream. It was a really pretty evening too! After that, we hung out at Conn some more. Eric, Julia, Cassie, Eric, and Lindsey were in and out at various points during the night. It was really fun hanging out with them and we all got along great which was so nice. Ben and I had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs and also had some really meaningful conversations too. It was just a really wonderful day :) :) :)
LAst night I was up sooo late and slept bad. But slept til 11:20 today. Yikes! That is so late for me! And I am still so tired!!! But I've been getting some stuff done today. Looking for human development resources for my paper, reading for film class, reaction paper for human development, etc. I also went for a swim at the pool.
I just don't want to do work. I decided that I am a rebel this semester :P LOL. yes, such a rebel. My definition of being a rebel is sleeping in til 11:20 and skipping a class to go volunteer :P
oh it was such a good weekend. I don't want to go back to classes...Mondays are the days with my two worst classes too. Blech!
It's OK though. Time is going by so fast, and before I know it, the weekend will come again...and it'll be Cassie's birthday party! How fun!
Time to try to do more work or something maybe... :P
